THE ITALIAN PIZZA 100% GREEN ENERGY PRIZEWINNER IN COLOGNE

Roncadin Spa's environmentally friendly pizza is one of Italy's gastronomic excellences and has won a prize in Germany as one of the year's most innovative products during the first edition of the "Italian Anuga Awards", dedicated to the best Italian agricultural and food companies taking part at the Cologne exhibition. The pizza produced exclusively with energy coming from certified renewable sources was judged the Best Product Innovation by an international panel of experts, including journalists, chefs, presidents of trade fair organisations and representatives of the institutions.  Forty one companies took part in the competition, selected from among the 70 candidates received by the prize organisers.
"This victory gives us great satisfaction and recognises our efforts and sensitivity towards total product quality", says Dario Roncadin, Managing Director of the family company and the man behind the environmentally sustainable policy. "Making a good food product is not enough. You also have to be ethical and respectful of the local area and the resources you use.
